Frequently Asked Questions
How long are the Pearl Harbor tours?
Our Pearl Harbor tours range from approximately 5 to 9 hours depending on the package.
Half-day tours last about 5–6 hours, including transportation from Waikiki or Ko Olina and your visit to the USS Arizona Memorial and other highlights.
Full-day tours last about 9 hours and often combine Pearl Harbor with other Oʻahu attractions, such as a Circle Island tour.
Which memorials and exhibits are included in your Pearl Harbor tours?
Most of our Pearl Harbor tours include the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center and USS Arizona Memorial as the core experience. Depending on the package you choose, you may also visit:
Battleship Missouri Memorial (“Mighty Mo”) on Ford Island
Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum (USS Bowfin)
Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum
Additional exhibits, museums, and outdoor memorials at the Visitor Center
Each tour package clearly lists its included sites so you can choose the one that best fits your interests and schedule.
Are tickets to the USS Arizona Memorial included in the price?
Yes — our Pearl Harbor tours include tickets to the USS Arizona Memorial whenever possible, as well as admission to other included sites such as the Battleship Missouri Memorial when specified in your tour package. We handle ticket reservations so you can skip the hassle of booking them yourself.
USS Arizona Tickets may be unavailable due to weather, National Park Service projects or heavy traffic. On busy days visitors may need to wait on a reserve list.
Is hotel pickup available for all Pearl Harbor tours?
Yes. Complimentary hotel pickup and drop-off is available for most tours from major Waikiki hotels. Select tours also offer pickup from Ko Olina. When booking, you’ll choose your pickup location from our list of supported hotels to ensure the smoothest start to your day.
Are bags allowed at Pearl Harbor?
We recommend bringing:
A valid government-issued photo ID (required for entry to certain memorials)
Light, comfortable clothing and walking shoes
Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat for outdoor areas
A camera or smartphone for photos (note: bags are not allowed inside the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center — small wallets and clear bags are permitted)
A light jacket for air-conditioned buses or cooler mornings
Do I need to book my Pearl Harbor tour in advance?
Yes — advance booking is highly recommended. Pearl Harbor is one of Hawaii’s most popular attractions, and daily ticket availability for the USS Arizona Memorial is limited. Booking ahead ensures your seat on the tour, your timed memorial tickets, and your preferred pickup location. Many dates, especially weekends and holidays, sell out well in advance.
What happens if the USS Arizona Memorial is closed on my tour day?
Closures are rare, but the USS Arizona Memorial may be closed due to weather conditions, maintenance, or safety reasons. If this happens during your tour, you will still enjoy the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, its exhibits, and other included sites in your package (such as the Battleship Missouri). Your driver-guide will adjust the itinerary as needed, and we will assist you with any ticket changes or partial refunds where applicable.
